Here's my first family news item:Jeff and I adopted a new dog, named Rooster, from the county shelter this week. He's a 10 month old mutt, possibly a basenji-lab mix. Here's a picture:

Teresa, he's cute! What is he in? How old is he?
I think he's in some kind of transport box...it's the picture that was on the website at the shelter. He's 10 months old.
